Edgy

This is an innovative and unique performance project presented by Metal as part of the artistic programme in their newly refurbished space for art at Edge Hill Station in Liverpool. Edgy takes place once a month in the performance space on platform 4.

She has darkness in her soul
She can feel
She's in the tunnel
She's in the arches
She's hiding at the top of the stairs
She has darkness in control

Edgy gives you 40 minutes of contemporary dance, electric guitars, dark poetry and fun from a troupe of unlikely entertainers. Plus a warm welcome*, cheap refreshments and occasional special treats in the scary little room upstairs.

This epic but intimate event takes place once a month at Edge Hill Station, in the performance space on platform 4.

Entry by donation. Places are strictly limited.  Call/text 07916920415 to reserve.

Seating is extremely limited this month - please make sure you reserve in advance as we need to know how many people are planning on turning up so we can make extra space if necessary. If you leave it until the day of the performance it may be too late! To reserve call/text 07916 920415 or email mail@suitcase-ensemble.com

This cabaret-style event is produced by a professional company of performers who are experimenting within and across their artforms to create an exhilerating contemporary music-hall that interrogates mainstream notions of work, art and collectivism. This free event is made possible by artists who volunteer their time for free and Metal who provide the space for free (thanks to a combination of public and private finance). The donations we receive on the door go towards our costs such as purchase of materials and volunteer expenses.

*But not a warm temperature. Please wrap up warm.
