1. Small scale professional performance: the production and tour of innovative cross-artform devised performance
2. Cabaret performance: Performance of contemporary theatre, music, poetry and dance in a range of non-theatre contexts including cabaret events, folk clubs, night clubs and festivals
3. Large scale and outdoor performance: Working in partnership with experienced producers to contribute to large scale community events, street theatre, site-specific performance and other outdoor extravaganzas
3. Participatory projects: one-off workshops and long-term projects that engage young people and adults (ages 14 upwards), especially those who would otherwise have little access to arts opportunities
We create innovative and contemporary theatre that speaks about real

The Suitcase Ensemble is a company of enthusiastic, creative and dedicated artists who create exciting and imaginative theatre. I was impressed by their scratch version of 'Clunk' and inspired by the style of theatre they had developed; quite bizarre and totally different to anything currently being produced in the Merseyside region.
Hope Street Ltd is pleased to support the company, nurture it and provide a mentoring programme for them, and we plan to support them for as long as they consider it to be of value to them.
Peter Ward, Director, Hope Street Ltd
The Suitcase Ensemble is an associate company of Hope Street Ltd and we are currently artists in residence at Metal Liverpool
We receive ongoing support-in-kind from Hope Street Ltd and Metal, and are currently in receipt of project funding from Arts Council England, Liverpool City Council, Liverpool PCT and The Co-operative Bank, and additional support-in-kind from They Eat Culture and unity theatre.
