Casting Call

We don't normally do the audition thing, but since losing our lovely Julie to the USofA we are casting for a female performer to work with us to develop two of our shows: Working on the Railway and Ship Show.

Brindley Youth Theatre

We have been working with the Youth Theatre at The Brindley Arts Centre all term, developing ideas for their new project 'Castlefields of Dreams' - which will culminate in a brand-new performance in Halton Castle this summer.

Weekly classes take place on Tuesdays, 5.30 - 7.15pm, at The Brindley, High Street, Runcorn WA7 1BG. Cost: £3 per session. Open to ages 12 - 18. Please contact tessa@suitcase-ensemble.com if you would like to join.

Castlefields of Dreams - auditions!

Young people aged 12 - 18 and living in Halton are invited to take part in this drama and heritage project, in which you can create and perform in a brand-new play in Halton Castle.

Auditions will be held on Tuesday 21, Thursday 23 and Friday 24 May at The Brindley Arts Centre.

Rehearsals are full-time from Tuesday 30 July - Thursday 15 August

Performances take place at Halton Castle on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 August.

There will be more opportunities to get involved nearer the time - these auditions are to be part of the main group of young artists who are creating the show.
